Monterey County Gives! is an annual end-of-year giving campaign to encourage support for local non-profits. It is an initiative of the Monterey County Weekly, in partnership with the Community Foundation for Monterey County and the Monterey Peninsula Foundation. With support from key community partners, a pro-rata match is made on the first $75,000 raised by each organization.
Consistently high levels of visitation at Point Lobos requires continual maintenance efforts to ensure the safety of visitors and to protect against environmental damage that can result from trail degradation. With your gift the Point Lobos Foundation will continue to fund trail-related projects including: routine trail maintenance, trail “brushing” to clear vegetation and poison oak, restoration of weather-damaged trails, and keeping ADA compliant trails safe and level. By choosing to lend your support through the campaign you are contributing to a philanthropic-inspiring movement.
