California State Parks is excited to announce Climate Action Day, a community event at the stunning Point Lobos State Natural Reserve (SNR), on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In honor of International Climate Day, this event invites participants of all ages to connect with nature while learning about the critical role conservation plays in addressing the climate crisis. Visitors can enjoy guided walks, participate in discussions about how climate change impacts biodiversity at Point Lobos SNR, and learn how to start the conversation about climate change.

California State Parks invites the public to participate in this special event dedicated to fostering a sense of hope in the face of climate change. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to a larger global effort to protect our planet.

This is a free event with a $10 day-use parking fee.
